ABOUT ME

I taught myself to type on my mother's old typewriter while my children painted the wall above their play table with yogurt. Hey, it kept them quiet.

And somewhere along the way, I taught myself to write. But writing is the act and storytelling the skill I think. It's a relationship with ideas pressed into words and wrestled into a pleasing order. It takes time. Getting it right more times than getting it wrong eventually. At least that is the goal. I'm still working on it, but I like the process.

Other places on the internet you will read that I wrote for newspapers. I did. Or that I wrote for magazines. M-m hmm; yeah. But I've also taught children and adults, cut hair, farmed, backpacked, worked in a small factory, coached Tball, softball and basketball. Today you'll find me knee-deep in research over at Flying Eagle Publications.

That is flyingeaglepublications.com, and I hope you will check it out. I can't wait to meet you there, and I am so grateful that you are interested in my books. I pray they are a blessing to you.

Oh, and I'm mostly French; my favorite color is white (?); I will never live anywhere else other than Michigan because I like it here, and I am devoted to Jesus.
